Biography
Engineer. From 2007 to 2023, I worked as an engineer on the design and characterization of fluorescent biosensors for the early detection of cancer. I obtained my PhD in Biology in 2019. In 2023, I decided to change my research field and joined the team as an engineer. I am responsible for the permanent breeding of the 2 species of tardigrades in the laboratory, hypsibius exemplaris and ramazzottius varieornatus. My work consists of studying the mechanisms involved in its extreme resistance. I am also participating in the study of aging using the alternative Caenorhabditis elegans model, alongside Pr Simon Galas and Dr Myriam Richaud. I am also involved in the diffusion and understanding of science for the general public by participating in events such as « fête de la science », « Science de nuit », etc.
