Biography
Alberto Marra graduated in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Pisa (Italy) in 1985. Then he moved to France and obtained his PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris VI) in 1989 working at the École Normale Supérieure under the supervision of Prof. P. Sinaÿ. He was postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Zurich (Switzerland) with Prof. A. Vasella and then moved to the University of Ferrara (Italy) where he joined the group of Prof. A. Dondoni. He was promoted to the position of Associate Professor in 1998 at the same university. Since September 2012 he got a permanent position as Professor at the University of Montpellier (France).
