Biography
Kamel Hadj-Kaddour studied at the University of Caen then at the University of Montpellier. He completed a doctorate in parasitology in the Cellular and Molecular Biology Laboratory of the Faculty of Pharmacy of Montpellier. His research focused on the characterization of new parasite antigens with the aim of developing new generation vaccines using recombinant proteins. He then obtained a position as an Engineer with the main theme of the annotation of the Babesia microti genome in partnership with Genoscope and Yale University. In 2012, he joined the IBMM and characterized the mechanisms of action and resistance of new anti-cancer drugs. In 2019, he joined the F14 team co-led by Magali Gary-Bobo and Alain Morère, and participated in the development of cellular and molecular biology and imaging tools, with the aim of improving the characterization of nanoparticles for therapeutic purposes.
