Biography
Denis Durand studied at the Faculty of Sciences of Montpellier. Research grantee, he carried out a thesis in Chemistry of Biomolecules on the synthesis of analogues of leukotrienne B4, used as a probe of the RCPG BLT directed by DRs Jean Pierre Girard and Jean Claude Rossi, defended in 2000. Then recruited as ATER then Lecturer in 2001 in the General and Mineral Chemistry laboratory at the Faculty of Pharmacy of Montpellier, he still teaches General Physical Chemistry in the Health studies course (PASS, LAS and 2nd year Pharmacy). From a Research point of view, he joined the IBMM and more particularly the F14 team and studies the biological activity of chemical products (Photoactivatable Nanoparticles) for cancer therapy.
