Biography

After studying pharmacy at the University of Bordeaux, Camille Tisnerat specialised in medicinal chemistry by completing a Master’s degree in Drug Design at the University of Caen Normandie, followed by a PhD at the University of Picardie Jules Verne. Her multidisciplinary researches at the chemistry-biology interface focused on the synthesis of new enantiopure antimalarial arylaminoalcohols. She then completed a one-year postdoctoral fellowship at Cardiff University, during which she optimised the synthesis of anticancer nucleotide triphosphate prodrugs. After a year as an ATER at the University of Marie et Louis Pasteur, where she developped PROTACs targeting the Tau protein for Alzheimer’s disease, she became an ATER once again at the University of Montpellier. Her current work focuses on the development of targeted ADC-type anticancer therapies. In parallel, she teaches organic chemistry to PASS and pharmacy students.
