Biography
Ophélie obtained her Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Châtenay-Malabry (Paris Saclay- Paris XI). After several internships in biomedical research in various laboratories, including Bertin Pharma, Sanofi and ICSN, she joined the teams of Dr F. Lamaty (IBMM) and Dr P. Marin (IGF) in Montpellier for an interdisciplinary thesis in medicinal chemistry and neuropharmacology. During her thesis, Ophélie worked on the development of a new therapeutic strategy for autism spectrum disorders (ASD), from the synthesis of new ligands to the study of their in vitro and in vivo properties in preclinical models of ASD.
