Pr. Pierre-Antoine Bonnet ORCID 0000-0001-8579-4150. Pr. Pierre-Antoine Bonnet obtained his degree in pharmacy from Montpellier University in France as major of promotion, then his Ph.D in physicochemistry in 1989 at University Paris VI, France. In 1992, he joined for one year the Department of Pharmacology at the University of California in San Diego. Currently and since 1992 he is Professor (highest rank Cl Exc 2) in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Montpellier University within the research group “Pharmacochemistry & Biomolecules”,  Institute for Biomolecules Max Mousseron IBMM, UMR CNRS 5247. He has acted as Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Montpellier University, from 2015 to 2019. He is the author of 90 international scientific papers and several patents in the fields of oncopharmacochemistry and quality control of health products. From Oct. 1997 to Sept. 2012 he was appointed within the French Health Products Safety Agency AFSSAPS (ANSM since 2012), Control Laboratory Department, as Scientific Director of the Montpellier-Vendargues site, in charge of the national control of health products. He is full member of the French National Academy of Pharmacy. Since 2015, he coordinates the Master Programme in Medicinal and Health Products Sciences at Montpellier University. As such he coordinates the partnership between the University of Montpellier and the University in Medicine and Health Sciences in Shanghai and is Visiting Professor at this University since 2016. He has been elected Vice-President of the French National Academy of Pharmacy for 2024.
