Biography
Gayathiri began her academic journey with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry at the University of Paris-Est Créteil. She then pursued a Master’s degree in Molecular Chemistry at Sorbonne University, carried out as a work-study program at the GBCM laboratory (Génomique, Bioinformatique et Chimie Moléculaire, CNAM), where she focused on the synthesis of (Ga-F) complexes for PET imaging applications. She continued her studies with a second Master’s degree in Bioactive Molecules Chemistry at the University of Paris-Est Créteil, during which she completed an internship in photochemistry on the development of heterogeneous photocatalysts. She is now joining the Green Chemistry and Enabling Technologies team at IBMM to pursue her PhD in co-supervision with the GBCM laboratory at CNAM. Her research, supervised by Dr. Frédéric LAMATY, Prof. Xavier BANTREIL, and Dr. Zacharias AMARA (CNAM), will focus on mechanophotochemistry for more sustainable chemical processes.
