Biography
Jade Benjou graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Rennes (ENSCR) with a specialization in organic chemistry for life sciences. Through an exchange program within the Fédération Gay-Lussac network, she completed her final year of engineering studies at the École Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Montpellier (ENSCM). During this exchange, she also earned a Master’s degree in Biology and Health from the University of Montpellier, specializing in Translational Medicinal Chemistry. She has contributed to various projects involving the design of bioactive molecules, including a 6-month internship at the interface of organic chemistry and biology at the CEA Paris-Saclay. There, she worked on the functionalization of drugs to study their biodistribution through fluorescence microscopy. Jade is currently pursuing a PhD focused on a multi-scale approach to designing novel proteolysis-targeting chimeras (PROTACs) in the context of acute myeloid leukemia.
