In 2021, Thi Hong Van obtained her Master's degree in Methodology and Organic Synthesis from the University of Le Mans, with a scholarship from the French Embassy. During her M2 internships, she studied analogs of Peloruside A — an anticancer compound — within the team of Professor Gilles Dujardin and Dr. Catherine Gaulon-Nourry. She then joined the COP team under the supervision of Dr. Sami Lakhdar at the LHFA laboratory at the University of Toulouse III - Paul Sabatier, where she conducted research on phosphorus chemistry and photoreductive catalysts. In December 2024, she defended her thesis and, starting in January 2025, joined the A1 - Glycochemistry & Molecular Recognition team at IBMM, as a postdoctoral researcher. She is working on lipid nanoparticles within an industrial project, which will enrich her interdisciplinary experience.
