Download the New Computer Program to facilitate the Identification of modified PEG’s by Mass Spectrometry.

by florent_r0s1 - published on

Chemists from the Department of Aminoacids, Peptides and Proteins of the IBMM have developed a computer program to facilitate the identification of modified PEG’s by Mass Spectrometry. Resulting from a collaborative work between Dr Frédéric Lamaty (IBMM, team 7) & Prof. Christine Enjalbal (IBMM, team 9), the program CALCPEG uses data generated by Mass Spectrometry (MALDI or ESI) to confirm the modification of the end group(s) of a PEG of any size. This method may find applications in research areas involving the synthesis, modification, conjugation, degradation… of PEG’s. The program CALCPEG is now available for download, for PC or Mac computers, in French or in English from the IBMM website.
