After a PhD in Organic Chemistry at the University of “Le Havre Normandie”, Sami Ben Salah performed a first postdoctoral internship at the “Ecole Supérieure de Physique et de Chimie Industrielles de la Ville de Paris” (ESPCI – PSL) under the supervision of Pr Janine COSSY. During this period, he succeeded in developing a new route to the total synthesis of a generic drug via organo- and metallocatalyzed reactions. Sami is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the IBMM, in the team Amino Acids, Heterocycles, Peptides and Proteins, where he is working with Pr. Nicolas Masurier and Dr. Cyril Fersing on the synthesis of PROTACs to target enzymes.
