Biography
Adrien Chouchou is assistant professor at the department of analytical sciences of the faculty of pharmacy of Montpellier, University of Montpellier. After studying Pharmacy at the Claude Bernard University of Lyon, he joined the Montpellier University Hospital as part of his Pharmacy Residency in Pharmaceutical Innovation and Research sector. He joined in September 2019 the analytical team F12 at IBMM to develop new methods for the quantification of pharmaceutical compounds by capillary electrophoresis and liquid chromatography in the context of therapeutic drug monitoring, the identification of new active compounds or the identification of the use of prohibited drugs in sport (sports doping). Its main expertise is based on the development and validation of analytical methods using mass spectrometry to identify and quantify small organic compounds present in complex biological matrices (blood, plasma, biological extracts, etc.).
