Pierre began his university studies at the University of Montpellier in 2022, at the IUT of Sète, Department of Chemistry. During his studies, he developed a strong interest in organic chemistry, logically joining the "Synthesis" program, which was recently created, in his second year.
He had the opportunity to complete a 10-week internship at the Institut Français de la Vigne et du Vin in Montpellier. His internship focused on developing analytical methods to study the spraying of a new tracer on vineyard simulations. Although his internship was not directly related to his university program, he was able to learn more about agronomic engineering as well as new analytical methods, such as X-ray fluorescence.
Finally, for a third year internship, he recently joined the Green Chemistry and Enabling Technologies team, where he is working on the synthesis of photoactivable molecules.
