Biography
Fanny Faure graduated from the Chemical Engineering School of Lyon (CPE Lyon). She did several internships including one year in a German biopharmaceutical company, Origenis GmbH, working on the synthesis of kinase inhibitors involved in neurodegenerative diseases. She also performed a six-month graduation project at the Cancer Research Center of Lyon (CRCL) at the interface between organic chemistry and biology. Fanny is currently doing a PhD thesis on the development of a novel class of antibiotics targeting Gram-negative pathogens through a repurposing of nucleoside analogs.
