Biography

Matthieu Rousset is a specialist in the function and modulation of voltage-gated calcium channels, which he studied during his PhD in the laboratory of Pierre Charnet in Montpellier and his postdoctoral work in the laboratory of Ricardo Dolmetsch at Stanford University. These studies were done primarily in the Xenopus oocyte model, but over the past decade he has studied these calcium channels in the more integrated honey bee model.
