Biography

Manon Sansarricq-Meterie graduated with a Master’s degree in Chemistry of Biomolecules from the University of Montpellier (France). During her studies, she performed several internships in academic research focused on developing innovative solutions to health-related challenges. In particular, she worked on the design of peptide inhibitors of SUMOylation as part of new therapeutic strategies for acute myeloid leukemia, using molecular modeling tools and incorporating electrophilic warheads into peptide structures.
Manon is currently doing a PhD thesis on the development of new antibiotics based on the repurposing of nucleoside analogues to target resistant Gram-negative bacteria, under the supervision of Dr Laurent Gavara.
