Nicolas FLOQUET appointed to the CNRS National Committee

Expert in molecular modeling and Research Director at IBMM, Nicolas FLOQUET has been appointed to Section 18, “Chemistry of Life,” of the CNRS National Committee.
This appointment comes at a time when modeling and associated AI-based methods are playing an increasingly important role within the section.

“I am very proud and honored to have been appointed to the CNRS National Committee for this new term. I’m also eager to experience what it’s like to be on the other side of the table during selection processes! I will do my best to highlight our dynamic field—molecular modeling—which is rapidly expanding, particularly thanks to the advent of AI-driven approaches for peptide and protein design, the development of new models for biomolecular simulations, and more.
