A research engineer and head of the Synbio3 platform, Pascal Verdié is in the spotlight in a new episode of Rouages, the video series produced by the University of Montpellier.

A chemical librarian at IBMM, responsible for the valorization of more than 4,000 compounds synthesized and characterized over thirty years of research, Pascal Verdié supports scientific teams in their projects, trains students in synthesis techniques, and translates academic and industrial needs into tailor-made biomolecular solutions.

Working at the interface between chemistry, biology, research, and knowledge transfer, his profession is a key cog in the development of life sciences projects—a pivotal role carried out with passion, rigor… and a sense of humor.
