Public Lecture: Mechanochemistry in the Service of a More Sustainable Chemistry
On Tuesday, November 18 at 7:00 p.m., Frédéric Lamaty, from the “Green Chemistry and Enabling Technologies” team, will give a public lecture on mechanochemistry at the Salle des Verrières in Saint-Gély-du-Fesc.
Free admission — an event not to be missed to discover sustainable alternatives to traditional chemistry.
Some questions that this lecture will address:
-
What are the most commonly used solvents in “classical” chemistry for the production of everyday objects?
-
What dangers do these solvents pose to the environment and to our health?
-
What is mechanochemistry, and why does it offer a sustainable alternative to traditional chemistry?
