After obtaining a BTS in Biochemistry in Arras in 1992, Bénédicte Marion joined the University of Montpellier in 1993 in the UFR of Pharmaceutical and Biological Sciences ( Laboratory of  Biophysics). She contributed to several projects linked to anti-doping control in sport, which enabled her to acquire in-depth expertise in analytical chemistry. She also took part in pharmacokinetic studies involving new drug substances for antimalarial, anticancer and antidiabetic purposes.
In 2015, she joined the F12 (Biomolecule Analytical Sciences) team at IBMM (Institut des Biomolécules Max Mousseron). As part of this team, she is involved in a number of scientific projects, including validation of assay methods and bioanalytical studies.
