Biography
After obtaining a DUT in Physical Measurements in Marseille in 1986, Pierre Sanchez joined the CNRS in Orsay in 1988. In 1993, Pierre Sanches was transferred to Montpellier to join the Aminoacids, Peptides and Proteins laboratory, now known as IBMM.
In this laboratory, Pierre Sanchez joined the mass spectrometry team, which later became the “Equipe Science Analytique des Biomolécules”.
Pierre Sanchez is in charge of the mass spectrometry equipment (LCMS coupling), carrying out analyses for the DAPP teams and maintaining the equipment.
