Jean Simon YAO is originally from Côte d'Ivoire (West Africa), where he completed most of his university studies. Jean Simon YAO is originally from Côte d'Ivoire (West Africa), where he completed most of his university studies.
He holds a state-certified doctorate in pharmacy, a master's degree in physical chemistry, and a professional master's degree in analytical chemistry and quality control.
Professionally, as part of his dual affiliation in Côte d'Ivoire, he works as a lecturer and researcher at the Faculty of Pharmacy and as a pharmacist at the National Institute of Public Health in Abidjan (Côte d'Ivoire).
His thesis work, jointly supervised by the University of Montpellier and Félix Houphouët Boigny University (begun in spring 2022), focused on the development of miniaturized analytical tools for therapeutic drug monitoring, applied to the management of chronic diseases.
