Sébastien Ulrich awarded the Jean-Marie Lehn Prize

Sébastien Ulrich has been awarded the Jean-Marie Lehn Prize from the French Chemical Society – Organic Chemistry Division (SCF-DCO), a major distinction in the field of supramolecular chemistry.

This prize recognizes his outstanding contributions to supramolecular bioorganic chemistry, particularly his work on the design of dynamic and adaptable chemical systems capable of ensuring the recognition, transport, and release of active compounds, especially nucleic acids, for health-related applications.

After studying at the University of Strasbourg and completing his PhD under the supervision of Professor Jean-Marie Lehn, Sébastien Ulrich pursued an international career, notably at the University of Oxford and Stanford University, before joining IBMM in 2012. Already awarded the CNRS Bronze Medal in 2017, his research now further confirms its impact and originality at the interface of chemistry and biology.

Congratulations to Sébastien on this well-deserved distinction!
