Mechanistic study of carbon-carbon (C-C) bond formation on transition metal
complexes as the key product-releasing stage of cross-coupling catalytic processes (Figure 1). Design of new catalytic reactions for carbon-heteroatom bond formation with homogeneous and nano-sized metal complexes leading to sulfur, selenium and iodine derivatives (Figure 2).
